Stuffy Church Work?

You don't have to be crazy to work at the church, but sometimes it helps! Val made us party hats and brought in cake today, so that we could all say, it was the best staff meeting ever! Thanks Val! It was the best staff meeting ever.

Swimming

Last night, our family went swimming at the Sungod Pool. For all of you with small children... it was amazing! For the first time, they have a large kids pool that feels like a warm bathtub. We were able to stay in the pool for a length of time without all of us freezing. Public swimming is on whenever the pool is open and it was only 3.00 for adults to go. Highly recommended for those who want a fun day or night out. I know this will sound silly, but in the family change room they had individual stalls for you to change in, but they also had seats hanging on the wall that you could strap your younger children into once they were ready. This meant no trying to keep them out of the water on the floor or out of your way. And to add the icing, there is even a coffee shop there.

Bubbles Everywhere!

Since the weather has gotten nicer, (rarely though) we have been outside in the backyard more with Katie. Her favorite activity is blowing, popping and chasing the bubbles.

Wall Art

If you look at this picture closely you will see a red drawing. If you were at our house you would find it part way down our hall about 2 feet above the floor. That's right... our first crayon drawing on the wall. Here we thought it was something big, but on Saturday night we saw a true piece of crayon wall art! O well, it is still something for us. At least it was washable crayon.
