Pigtails

Although a small thing, we finally were able to put Katie's hair in pigtails today. Yah! Now maybe people will stop calling her a him! I don't know how people can be so unobservant.

The Aquarium

On Easter Monday we went to the Aquarium with my parents and Aarons Dad. Once again it was a beautiful day. It was crowded but we had fun, and Katie is at the age that she really enjoyed it as well.

Easter

This year my Mom and Dad were able to come and join us for the Easter Weekend. On Saturday, we spent most of the day out at Steveston enjoying the weather and the park for Katie. On Sunday of course we went to church and in the afternoon we had Aaron's parents over for Easter dinner. My Dad went back to work Tuesday morning, and my Mom and I spent the past week shopping and decorating. I hate when she leaves, but we had a great week. I had to post some pictures of Katie in her Easter dress as well.

Our Fashionista

Katie has recently become quite good at putting her pants on, and off and on again, and the same with shoes. Actually on that note, she is also a little too good at taking her pj's off. She takes them off after we put her to bed almost every night. It is fun to see how they learn to dress themselves though. I wonder if her fascination with clothes, purses and shoes is a peak into whats to come?

Finally!

I finally put down the paintbrush and have gotten around to updating our blog. We can no longer say we are in the green house anymore, since our new house is blue. The last two months we have been busy moving, putting in hardwood floors, and doing lots of painting. It has been much more time consuming this time, since much of the work we can really only do when Katie is sleeping, which only happens once a day most of the time. However, we are finally starting to be able to enjoy the results, especially in our basement. I will put some photos of before and after on, but I want to make some slipcovers for the couch and chair, and hang up pictures first.
