Happy New Year everyone! This year was our year to spend Christmas in Alberta. We had a great time seeing all of our family, and just having fun relaxing. Katie sort of got the idea of Christmas this year, but was still just as happy to play on the boxes and with all the wrapping. This was also the first time that Katie actually played in the snow, since other times she just doesn't quite know what to make of it, and often does her very best to avoid touching or moving in it. The weather was quite mild, so Grandpa put up the swing again. Katie's favorite activity is swinging, and each time she was out there, her cheeks would be glowing red, but she still would fight coming in. For New Years we spent a few days at Aaron's parents and did Christmas with them. Once again, really relaxing. Unfortunately it is over now, and we have less than 2 weeks till we move. I will miss this house, that I have always loved, but I am excited about our new house, and what it has that this one doesn't.
